When you use our quote or callback form we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address (optional), property postcode, the service you need and any message. We also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your IP address and browser type to help prevent spam and abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange work (legitimate interests / steps before entering a contract).
- If you become a customer, to carry out the work, issue certificates and remind you when a renewal is due (contract and legitimate interests).
- To keep our website secure and free from spam (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Enquiries are emailed to the people who handle bookings for Bristol Landlord Electrics, including our website and lead-management partner, so they can respond quickly. Our website host and email provider process data on our behalf. We only share information where it's needed to deal with your enquiry or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Customer records and certificates are kept for as long as needed for legal, insurance and compliance purposes (typically up to 6 years after the work).
